A Romantic Wedding at Rowena’s Inn on the River
Serenne and Hao had a beautiful wedding day that was full of love, fun, and energy. Their outdoor ceremony and tent reception at Rowena's Inn on the River in Harrison Mills, BC created an atmosphere of romance and intimacy. The minimal decorations added to the beauty of the building, while the bridal party’s enthusiasm made for a great celebration. Even the unexpected forest fire not too far from the venue added to the enchanting ambiance of their special day.
The bride and her mother had a special first look that was filled with emotion. They laughed, hugged, and shared tears as they prepared for one of life’s most important moments. The tenderness between them was palpable, which made this moment even more memorable!
The bride and groom had their own private first look before their wedding ceremony. Seeing each other for the first time in their wedding attire elicited strong emotions from both. When they finally met up, it was all hugs, kisses, and laughter - with maybe even a few happy tears! This special moment set the tone for what would be an unforgettable day.
The outdoor ceremony area was simply breathtaking - lush green grass surrounded by towering trees made for an idyllic setting. During their vows, Serenne & Hao were overcome with emotion; it was clear how deeply they loved each other! After exchanging rings and saying “I do”, they were pronounced husband & wife to much applause from their family & friends!
When guests entered the tent reception area, they were immediately taken by its cozy charm. Although it had been decorated minimally like everything else that day, there was no shortage of great energy in that space! Everyone danced into the evening hours with music from DJs playing an array of classics and modern hits alike. The bridal party also joined in on some fun activities like cornhole tournaments before things wrapped up around midnight with lots of hugs, smiles, laughs – all signs of a great time had by all!
Serenne & Hao’s wedding day is proof that you don’t have to go all out with decorations or activities in order for your big day to be memorable—all you need is love! These two kept their decor minimal but still created something truly magical thanks to their incredible love for each other being felt by everyone who attended their special day.
